Community Conversations with McWane Science Center:  Access to Health Screenings

Doctors, researchers, policy makers, and health care professionals want to hear from you. Join McWane Science Center along with local medical professionals as we discuss the current disparities in health care—specifically as they related to colon cancer screenings. What barriers have you faced when seeking screenings? What have been your experiences with healthcare? What sources do you trust for medical information? How can we all work together to create a healthier Birmingham? Join us to share your perspectives, exchange ideas with others, and learn about different options for colon cancer screenings. There is no charge for this event and dinner will be provided, reservations are required.
