For two nights only, McWane Science Center welcomes Skyview, a Jacksonville, Florida-based cinematic space rock band known for blending original music, storytelling, and breathtaking full-dome 8K visuals into a one-of-a-kind live performance. Journey from Sputnik to the Space Shuttle as original songs inspired by historic space missions, the courage of astronauts, and the wonder of the universe come to life beneath the five-story, 79-foot John W. Woods IMAX® Dome Theater.
But the evening begins long before the first note.
Your ticket includes exclusive Live at McWane programming before the concert, featuring interactive space-themed activities, opportunities to touch authentic NASA spacecraft artifacts, and hands-on experiences for space enthusiasts of all ages. Following select evening performances, weather permitting, guests can continue their journey under the stars with telescope viewing alongside members of the Birmingham Astronomical Society.
Guests 21 and older can enjoy a cash bar throughout the evening, and concessions will be available for purchase.
